Often, yes, provided the vehicle can legally be released and there is enough room to load it safely. Tell Jay about traffic, parking restrictions, bike lanes, construction or limited truck access.
Possibly. Parkade removals depend on height clearance, the vehicle's condition and whether it can be moved to a suitable loading area. Jay must review the details and photos before confirming the removal.
Have valid photo identification and the vehicle registration when available. Remove the licence plates before the vehicle leaves. Contact Jay before pickup when registration is missing or ownership is unusual.
It may still be possible. Jay must confirm that the person releasing the vehicle has the authority to do so, so call before the pickup is booked. A replacement registration may be available through an Autoplan broker, and they can confirm the current requirements for your situation.
Keys make removal easier but are not always required. Tell Jay before accepting the quote because missing keys can affect steering, loading and access.
Yes. Customers should remove their licence plates before the vehicle leaves and contact an Autoplan broker about cancelling or changing the insurance.
Payment is made after Jay verifies the vehicle and completes the paperwork, before the vehicle is loaded and taken away.
The quote should remain the same when the vehicle and access match the description. A quote may need to be reviewed before loading if major parts are missing, the vehicle is different from what was described or unexpected access problems are discovered.
Same-day or next-day pickup may be available, but it depends on Jay's route, schedule, vehicle condition and location. Nothing is guaranteed until Jay confirms a time with you.
The year, make, model, condition, completeness, usable parts, catalytic converter, vehicle weight, current recycling value and the cost of removal can all matter. Two cars of the same age can be worth quite different amounts.
Sometimes. A running vehicle may have more resale or parts value, but its overall condition, make, model and demand matter too. Running alone does not guarantee a high price.
No. Remove personal belongings, documents, parking passes, garage remotes, licence plates and anything you want to keep before pickup. Once the vehicle is loaded it is difficult to retrieve anything left behind.
The vehicle is delivered for automotive recycling. Reusable components may be recovered and recyclable materials such as fluids, batteries, tires and metal are separated and processed.
